Lovely food at a great price!

This is my go to place when I'm in the area for Vietnamese food. Friendly, clean place. Lots of menu options. There Chicken and shrimp on vermicelli is my favourite. Not to many places you can dine for two under $40.00 with tip.

I love this place. The salt and pepper tofu and vegetarian fried rice are our weekly go-to order. Great staff. So friendly. Definitely recommend.

The pho and crispy beef are my fave and staff is friendly.

Would not deliver to walkley and st Laurent

Absolutely delicious Ma Po Tofu, the food came quickly, was reasonably priced and there were lots of vegetarian options. Highly recommend.

This is our favourite noodle soup spot in Ottawa. Service is always friendly, the soup is always delicious and, as we go there weekly, they know our family’s order by heart! We love the A7, P9, S7 and P11 (and truthfully have not ordered much else from here because it’s just so delicious!).

Large portions at a reasonable price, tasty Vietnamese food. Their decor could use updating, but if they did that then undoubtedly they would have to charge more. I like them just the way that they are - understated and delicious.

We have been here several times and have not been disappointed. They have Pho, Szechuan, Vietnamese, with many noodle and rice dishes. The prices are reasonable, about $12-15 per plate. For 2 of us we ordered 4 spring rolls and 2 plates, we were feeling pretty satisfied. We can't wait to go back.

I ate ALL the crispy beef. ALL OF IT. It was great. Yeah, Chinese menu, but hey. Good stuff. :) Affordable and quick too. The service was a little slack, though. But it wasn’t bad.

Beautiful place and nice people but absolutely horrible food.. ordered the bun (vermicelli) and pad Thai, both are flavourless and bland. Pad Thai is supposed to be made with Tamarind paste, fish sauce and siratcha.. this pad Thai tastes like noodles with ketchup and sesame oil.. Gross.. the vermicelli was for my fiancé. she was equally disappointed. The pork tastes like shredded fatty metal and there were chunks of gross fat in it. The chicken was a strange full piece of meat that we’re still unsure what part of the bird it’s from. We normally go to China town for Bun or to Bien Pho in Orleans but since this place is so close to our home we thought we’d try something new.. What a regrettable decision.. I want my money back..

Good experience. Service was great! The food, good. Food value, average. One dish was mistakenly over salted, and our waitress immediately took responsibility for it and corrected the situation. Rarely seen in Ottawa. Top marks for the service. Would recommend this nice family style restaurant.

HORRIBLE! How on earth is it normal and acceptable for me to order off of the VEGETARIAN menu and to get a chicken soup after not eating meat for 4 years?! Thank god I'ce noticed, and all I get is a smile and sorry. NEVER AGAIN, the service was horrible, the waitress was extremely condescendent. If I could put 0 out of five stars I would.

Not the greatest phò I’ve ever had, but still very good, with cheerful service and decor. An excellent staple for the neighbourhood.

great spring rolls

Excellent Vietnamese food, and very friendly service. The prices are reasonable and the food is always cooked with a ton of flavours! It's also a nice relaxing and quiet atmosphere which I personally enjoy. I would recommend this place!

Healthy & delicious

Love this place... great service and wonderful take out. I order C23 F - seafood and mixed veg as no carb dinner... or C23 S for shrimp and veg... and they have the best hot and sour soup in Ottawa... one of my regular restaurants in the Glebe. And the service is truly lovely.

Very strange place, the name is Vietnamese kitchen but all of the employees speak Chinese (Cantonese). Food is average, especially a bowl of pho, which is plain and not a lot of meat in it. Prices are okay, but with respect to quality, definitely a big discrepancy. I'd recommend if you just crave Asian food and are within walking distance, otherwise find someplace else.

We love this place! The Pho is delicious, and the vermicelli noodle dishes will keep you coming back for more. Good service, nice people, and a huge menu with so many different options!

This modest establishment is basically Chinese. Prices are reasonable. Quality is average. The staff are reasonably pleasant and competent. One thing I really like is that the place is quiet enough to allow for unstrained conversation.

It had good flavour but wasn't spicy at all even the plates with the little hot pepper in the description

I ordered takeout. When I came home and opened the bag, they had given me someone else's order. I had to drive back to get the right bag... I was not offered a discount or anything for the inconvenience. When I came back home and opened the bag, the vermicelli I ordered (beef, shredded pork and spring rolls) didn't have shredded pork or spring rolls in it... and the vegetarian paid thai had NO vegetables in it and tasted like ketchup. The side of spring rolls had no filling, just crunchy pastry. I will not order from here again.

Love the food here. Well priced, Good sized portions and the flavors never disappoint. Tried the green mango salad on our last visit and going back and ordering it again. So good.

Good pho - modest surroundings

I've never been disappointed eating here. There is a wide variety of menu items and the food is tasty and well prepared . I also have found that the service is above average and that the staff is courteous, attentive and friendly. Also the staff has proven knowledgeable about the menu and how the food is prepared. In terms of the food, the spring rolls here stand out against competitor offerings, and there is a number of Chinese menu items available also.

They are NOT Vietnamese people. The food was pretty Ok! But the restaurant doesn't look so clean. The waitress was not so friendly and they are not Vietnamese. We wait pretty long for food and every one yealling in the kitchen
